AND THE WINNER IS...!

KATHERINE of Yellow Rose Arbor! Congratulations Katherine! Michelle, the lovely angel, will be winging her way to your home via Priority Mail. Yes its hard to part with her as I sometimes bond with inanimate objects, but there's no greater joy then sharing for this Christmas baby. (I've been told I have a Santa's complex-but I can live with that!)

Dec. 22, 2008 to Katherine. She is named for my own daughter, Michelle. An angel to me: I was fortunate to have such a wonderful angel of my own to raise.

The Story

And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. Luke 2:7

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the City of David a Savior , which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; ye shall find the Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, goodwill toward men. Luke 2: 8-14

Behold there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews for we have seen his star in the east and are come to worship him. . .
