  2. This angel is truly exquisite with her white attire including the fur hat! Her feather wings also add a special touch.
I collect angels as figurines and as tree ornaments for an angel tree. While i like cute angels my preference is for those who are beautiful and look strong as messengers doing God's bidding on behalf of humankind.

  3. I've always loved angels! I had an interesting experience one time that I'll quickly share. I had a serious surgery about 20 years ago. It was the final surgery after about 20 I had before it. After the surgery I was not allowed visitors. However, I awoke to a beautiful woman standing next to my bed with her hand on mine. She spoke softly, "I want you to know that you are going to be ok." I closed my eyes and when I opened them again she was gone! I asked my mother and husband later who had come to visit me. They knew I had not been allowed visitors so they asked the nurses. They were told no one had been allowed in the room all day. Now I realize that I was in a drugged state at the time but I've always believed the beautiful woman with the sweet, soft voice was an angel!

"Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." Hebrews 13:2

    Merry Christmas...Kathy

  4. Count me in!
I have a collection of angel ornaments for my tree. Some I have purchased on my own but most have been given to me in ornament exchanges. It “seems” (could be the work of an angel) that the collection sort of started on its own, but each year I would receive a angel in an ornament exchange and now my tree has lots of very beautiful and varied angel ornament tucked all over.

    Blessings

  5. My mother was very ill with sarcoma and had to be hospitalized in a city far away for treatment. This treatment involved an amputation of her hip and leg. It was traumatic and happened during the Christmas season. She was in the hospital for five weeks. During that time she had a hospital roommate who's heart went out to her. Both my mother and her roommate had daughter's who stayed with them much of the time. I appreciated getting to know them --- and was so touched when they gave a beautiful, crystal angel ornament to my mother for Christmas. It was given with such tender care and meaning. I will never forget their kindness and how their gift touched my heart and my mother's heart. The little angel is now mine --- and one that holds a place of honor and memory on my Christmas tree.
